Raeja pashos
Raeja Pashos (Ra-ya) burst onto the scene at eight years old, debuting professionally in Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables National Tour (2014–2016). In the very same week she also garnered a callback for the lead in Matilda the Musical, but she chose to tour as Young Éponine and understudy Cosette, launching a thrilling 15-month journey touring Australia.
Ever since, Raeja has devoted herself to world-class triple threat training with industry professionals in singing, dancing, and acting. Highlights include appearances in music videos (The Preatures), film and TV (A Place to Call Home), television commercials (Hungry Jack’s), major corporate and sporting events (Sydney Kings). She studied at Village Nation Performing Arts and FT College under Jacqui Howard and Matt Lee, performing in Steam Heat (Fosse) at NIDA, Q’s Jook Joint (Quincy Jones), and The Greatest Showman. She also completed her Full-Time Diploma in Musical Theatre in 2023 and commenced working with The Artists Lab, under the internationally acclaimed Simone Salt and Paul Tabone in the same year.
Raeja’s acting credits include short films (Liminal, The Disposed) and plays (DNA, Chaos), guided by David Cuthbertson and Mitch Firth of YAA. Her vocal mentors—Andrew Bevis, Rebecca Selly, Michelle Bar, Erin Clare, Lara Mulcahy, and Paul Tabone—have equipped her to master styles from classical musical theatre to pop, rock, soul, and folk.
Armed with unparalleled passion, training, and on-stage experience, Raeja is poised to continue lighting up stages and screens in the years to come. Grateful for the privilege of learning from so many industry-leading educators and performers, Raeja is intent on blending her extensive training and professional performance experience to breathe life into inspiring roles—on stage, on screen, and in the recording studio. Her journey is only just beginning, and she is determined to keep reaching new artistic heights while sharing her passion with audiences everywhere.
