Isobel Maynard

Isobel Maynard is a First Nations artist and a true triple-threat performer. Originally from
Canberra, she trained extensively in classical ballet before moving to Sydney. She studied
full-time at Brent Street, receiving her Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2024. Isobel has
brought to life many iconic leading ladies, such as Charity Hope Valentine in Sweet Charity
(2024) and Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia (2025).
Since moving to Sydney, Isobel has performed as half-time entertainment for the NRL and
appeared as an extra on Australian Idol. In 2024, she performed an original cabaret piece in
the Sydney Fringe festival with some of her fellow Brent Street graduates titled “One Multiple
Sensations”
. Most recently Isobel was featured as a dancer in Willoughby Theatre
Company’s production of Beauty and the Beast (2026). Isobel is an extremely dedicated and
hard-working performer, constantly working on her craft. Her classical dance training mixed
with her powerhouse vocals makes her a standout performer on every stage
