Alana Gilio is an 18-year-old singer, dancer & actor who has trained in all areas of the
performing arts from a young age. She has trained in dance at Village Nation College
and studying singing with Paul Tabone through The Artist Lab since 2023. Alana has also
had the opportunity to study acting through The Artist Lab with Kim Hardwick. She is
trained in many styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, latin, lyrical,
contemporary and hip hop. Alana has participated in workshops and programs to
increase her training such as The Artist Lab Workshop with Paul Tabone and Simone
Sault and Theatre Bridge 2026. She has completed Grade 1 to Intermediate of the Royal
Academy of Dance ballet exams, and also completed Grades 5, 6 & 8 Trinity College
London Musical Theatre exams. Alana has also received her ATCL in Musical Theatre
through Trinity College London. Alana has had the opportunity to perform in musical
productions such as The Wizard of Oz Arena Spectacular (Harvest Rain, 2020) and
various musical and dance productions as part of Village Nation College. She has also
had the incredible opportunity of performing as part of the children’s chorus in Opera
Australia’s production of Attila in 2020 and 2021.
