Ileana pipitone
Ileana Pipitone is an internationally acclaimed musical performer with dual Italian and Australian citizenship. Her passion for the performing arts began in her early years, and she embarked on her artistic journey in 2005, starting with contemporary singing. By 2008, she had expanded her expertise to include acting and opera singing.
In 2015, Ileana graduated with distinction from the esteemed Bernstein School of Musical Theatre in Bologna, Italy, under the expert guidance of Shawna Farrell. She has since performed in a variety of professional Italian productions, taking on notable roles such as Strawberry in “Freckleface Strawberry,” Alice Bean in “Titanic,” Rapunzel in the Italian tour of “Into The Woods,” Wendla in “Spring Awakening,” Ursula in “Bye Bye Birdie,” Guido’s Mother in “Nine,” Annabel Glick in “Lucky Stiff,” and various ensemble roles in shows like “Evita,” “Ragtime,” “Sweeney Todd,” and “Pippin.”
In 2017, Ileana moved to Sydney, where she continued to thrive in the musical theatre scene. Her roles in Sydney include Amy in “Songs For A New World,” April and Marta in “Company,” Mary Magdalene in “Jesus Christ Superstar,” Grandmama in “The Addams Family,” and The Witch in “Into The Woods.”
