James Taylor is a Sydney-based Australian performer with an impressive international career spanning cruise ships, circuses, and major musical tours. Beginning his journey as a dancer, James honed his craft at Brent Street Studios before joining Norwegian Cruise Line, where he performed on ships traveling between New York City, Florida, and the Caribbean.

His career then took him on an exciting tour across the Middle East and Asia with Millennium Entertainment International, deepening his love for travel and live performance. More recently, James toured Australia in a collaboration between Sesame Street and Silvers Circus, performing in a full-length, traveling circus production. Over the course of this evolving show, James moved from dancer to dance captain, dresser, and ultimately stage manager—experiences that sparked his interest in roles beyond dancing.

During the quieter COVID period, James expanded his skill set by completing a Musical Theatre course with Shaun Rennie at The Hub, which boosted his confidence in singing and hosting. This newfound versatility led him to a role as Ryder, the lead character in Paw Patrol Live, during a tour of the Middle East.

Now, James is eager to bring his talents to The Artists Lab, where he looks forward to continuing his growth as a performer, while traveling the world and taking on new challenges.
