Nathan Kneen is an accomplished performer with an extensive career in musicals, operas, and concerts around the world. He is also passionate about sharing his love of music with the next generation as a primary school music teacher.
Nathan’s impressive credits span a wide range of productions, including his time with The Ten Tenors (1995-2003), as well as roles in EssGee’s Pirates of Penzance (ensemble, Frederic understudy), The Merry Widow (ensemble), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Protean, Hero understudy), and Opera Queensland’s Die Fledermaus and Faust (ensemble). He also performed in The Show Co.’s Grease (Teen Angel), starred as the Pirate King in Lynch and Paterson’s Pirates of Penzance, and was a featured soloist with the Queensland Pops Orchestra. Most recently, Nathan took on the iconic role of The Phantom in both Lynch and Paterson’s and IMTC’s productions of The Phantom of the Opera.
In addition to his stage career, Nathan appeared on The Voice Australia Season 6 and is a regular performer of the National Anthem at major sporting events across the country.
